As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible business practices, we are excited to collaborate with Karopack in Lechaschau, an initiative of Lebenshilfe in Reutte.
This innovative partnership is not only a further step in our continuous development towards more responsible and environmentally conscious practices, but also a sign of local cooperation and social responsibility.
For many years, Lebenshilfe Reutte has been focused on empowering individuals with disabilities to engage fully in society. A key part of this effort is Karopack, a division of Lebenshilfe that specializes in the creation of sustainable packaging materials. For several years now, Karopack has been producing eco-friendly packaging while also facilitating the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce.
From now on, Rolf’s glasses will be shipped using packaging materials developed and manufactured by karopack. These are more environmentally friendly and of higher quality than conventional solutions. karopack collects paper waste from Rolf and other institutions such as schools and companies, shreds it and uses it to produce the packs. This creates a circular system in which paper waste is directly integrated into the packaging process. This approach promotes the circular economy and supports the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market.
Our customers benefit from this new packaging in multiple ways. Each pair of glasses comes in high-quality, eco-friendly packaging that offers optimal protection while also conveying a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
Whenever possible, the packaging can be reused, whether for shipping your own parcels or for creative purposes. If reuse isn’t an option, the packaging can easily be recycled with paper waste, contributing to environmental preservation and extending the life of the material.
This collaboration between Rolf, Lebenshilfe in Reutte, and Karopack sends a powerful message in support of sustainable packaging, the inclusion of individuals with disabilities, local partnerships, and environmental responsibility.
