Rolf supports the “Visual Reality” project

Rolf: Where Sustainability Meets Social Responsibility

Social responsibility and sustainable innovation are core values at Rolf. This connection was impressively demonstrated as part of the Visual Reality project of the 3rd office class of the TFBS for trade and office in Reutte. The aim of the project was to provide custom-made glasses for Martin, a client of Lebenshilfe Reutte.

From the idea to implementation

The project arose from the apprentices’ initiative to make a meaningful contribution to the community. In close cooperation with Lebenshilfe Reutte, a regional facility of Lebenshilfe Tirol that supports people with disabilities in the areas of counseling, housing and work, a concept was developed that was tailored to Martin’s individual needs. The project group, consisting of six students, including one of Rolf’s trainees, took on the planning and coordination.

The focus of the project was to provide a pair of glasses that met both functional and sustainable criteria. After an eye test at the Rolf flagship store in Reutte to determine the optimal lenses, Martin had the opportunity to choose a frame to suit his taste.

Choosing a sustainable solution

As a partner in the project, Rolf provided specially manufactured “bean glasses” – a model made from innovative, environmentally friendly materials. This choice underlines the company’s philosophy of combining sustainable solutions with the highest quality. The glasses are not only durable, but also combine modern design with ecological responsibility.

Importance of cooperation

The Visual Reality project shows how cooperation between different stakeholders can successfully combine sustainable and social goals. Rolf would like to thank the project group of the 3rd office class for their commitment and Lebenshilfe Reutte for their constructive cooperation.

Supporting initiatives of this kind is an important part of Rolf’s corporate values. Sustainability means not only resource-conserving production and materials, but also social responsibility – a combination that could be effectively implemented as part of this project.
