Today, stand construction is more than just a presentation area. At opti 2026, it became clear how much stand design has evolved in the optical world: away from short-term solutions and towards well thought-out concepts. Less material, but more flexibility. Less disposable, but systems that last.
It is precisely this development that Eyestylist magazine has picked up on and Top 4 trade fair stands at opti 2026 were chosen. The focus was on sustainable, cost-efficient and innovative designs that combine reusability, modularity and brand identity. Stands that can be adapted, reduce waste and still – or precisely because of this – have a strong presence.

Rolf Stand is one of these top 4.
Presented for the first time in January 2025, the concept was systematically continued for opti 2026. The open, modular design is inviting and clearly structured. It relies on minimal materials, interchangeable graphics and plants that lend the stand vitality and make it easy to update. Packing, transporting, converting – everything has been thought through.
The stand concept was designed internally by the Rolf team. For opti 2026, it was individualized with a new campaign for the launch of Substance Aura. Not as a new beginning, but as a further development of a system that is designed to last.
When design is thought about in the long term, more than just an exhibition stand is created.
The award from Eyestylist shows: Contemporary trade fair construction works particularly well when it is reduced, flexible and honestly conceived. Four stands were selected – and Rolf is one of them.
